Welcome to The Hallberg-Rassy Owners Association
The HROA's aim is to provide sailing, social and other activities, and to promote
an exchange of information, experience and views.
The Association was formed over 25 years ago, and has grown steadily ever since. We now have about 350 Members,
including many Friends - past owners who like to keep in touch and join in with many of our events.
Although the majority of Members keep their boats in the UK and Ireland, we have a strong representation in the rest of Europe and further afield.
You can read more about the Association in the Message from the Commodore and on the Benefits of Membership page of this site.

HROA Weather Forecast Information
Pasco's Boatyard in St Just-in-Roseland has confirmed they would be more than happy to offer a discount of 10% to any HROA members, either for short term or long term moorings. The yard has just changed hands and the owners are making a number of alterations to improve the service. St Just-in-Roseland is a very peaceful creek with non-drying moorings operated by the boatyard.
Please contact the boatyard direct, preferably by email (mailto:email@example.com). The daytime number is 01326 270 269, or mobile 07828 184 999. Because of its church and beautiful surroundings, St Just is particularly attractive and pre-booking is recommended.
As members are no doubt aware, the creek is open to strong south westerlies. Other than the boatyard there are few facilities available but St Mawes is not far with a regular bus service.
The Committee for 2014 is in the attached document. Their full contact details can be found in the Members Area (under Information) or in the 2014 Members Handbook.

Please also make full use of our Facebook page HROA Cruising. This is designed to allow members to arrange impromptu “meet ups” during the season. Just sign up to Facebook and open an account, this will then allow you to search for HROA Cruising. For security, this is a closed group and the contents are not viewable by the general public, so you will need to sign up as a Facebook “friend” for this. It’s just a click of a mouse. We will then check if you are a member and grant “friend” access.
On here you will be able to post details of where you are cruising and if you wish to meet up with others, you can also reply to other members proposed meets.
Please see attached document for notes on the HROA Cruising Facebook page
