I am planning to fit shore power and a battery charger in my HR29. I would be pleased if someone could give me information on best location for the battery charger. I have a five berth layout and am considering the forward bulkhead in the port cockpit locker. Any other information on equipment and layout would be welcome.

The battery charger in my HR 29, also a five berth layout, is fitted to the outside of the wooden housing case for the consumer battery on the portside. It is wired to charge only the consumer battery but not the starting battery because the latter one normally does not need external charging. The plug for the mains connection is in the anchor hold.
